So, I have been meaning to post this sooner, but I kept putting it off. Last Monday I went to JC Penney because I had been hearing about their new prices and everything and I had been wanting to check it out. Turns out their new prices are Ah-Mazing!! Their CEO Ron Johnson, who is responsible for how popular the Apple store is, came up with a new marketing approach where they will sell their clothes at much lower prices, but have very few sales. They will also have certain items labeled as "Best Deals". The "Best Deals" are effective every first and third friday of the month. I am a tad bit confused with this though because when I went to JCPenny I got a clothing item at a best deal price and it was a Monday, so the restriction could only be for their online store. Anyways, I am very pleased with their new marketing concept. I never really shopped there that much just because I am a super thrifty shopper when it comes to clothes and so I never really felt like paying $30 bucks for a shirt. So now that the prices are cheaper I will definatly shop there more frequently.

Now I didn't get a lot of stuff there (only two things), however I am still super happy with my purchases.

First thing I got is this marroon sweater. I absolutly LOVE it and I got it for a ridiculously cheap price. $2 !! I was soo extatic when I found out the price. I got this sweater from the best deals section.

The second thing I got was a pair of black leggings. I have really really been needing a pair and I am always having to borrow other peoples. So when I saw the price of these I was very happy. The price tag said they were $8, but when I got to the register the cashier said they were only $6!!

After JCPenney I went to Old Navy. I normally dont find much here but I decided I would give it a try. And I am glad I did. I got a super cute shirt for a super cheap price. The price tag said $6 but when I got to the register it was only $4!!! I was so happy.

I hope ya'll enjoyed hearing about my finds. Everyone should check out the new JCPenneys prices, you will all be pleasently surprised. I was.

I am FINALLY getting over my awful cold, so I decided that I would blog a bit. I saw that Cait from Fit, Fierce, and Fabulous and Heather ( my big sis) From Here to There both did this fun randoms post, so I decided to link up and do the same! :)

1) I have a love for singing karaoke. I never sing in front of people or anything; I just go on youtube and search for songs. Its alot of fun. When my sister Tiffani comes home we almost always sings karaoke right away. We even convinced Heather to do it once, which was alot of fun.

2) I am homeschooled. I'm not sure if I have mentioned it yet on my blog, but yes I am homeschooled. I started homeschooling when I was in 8th grade. I have enjoyed it alot. At first it was hard to adjust to and I missed alot of my friends back at my old school, but I ended up making alot of new friends through my homeschool groups.

3) I am currently training to run a marathon. I am doing a program called Marathon Makeover which will help me prepare for a marathon that will take place sometime in October I believe ( i dont know the exact date). It has been great so far. Once I started my training I cut out sodas, so now I have been soda free for almost 2 months!!!

4) And the last thing is I volunteer at a pre-school for children with disabilaties. I have had to cut back on how much I volunteer there because of school and work, but I have volunteered there for about 3 years. It is a wonderful school with amazing teachers who have the biggest hearts. The children and adorable little munchkins and I have enjoyed every second I have gotten to spend with them. :)

I apologize again for another absense. I am sick right now so I dont feel like blogging that much. As soon as I am over it I will be blogging again. I have a few things planned. So stay tuned! :)

SO, I know I have been absent for a few days; however, I have been extremely busy.

You see I have been participating the the highschool mock trial competition for my state and this weekend was the final competition. So for these past few days I  have been so busy preparing that I just havent found the time to blog, and when I did have time I was sooo exhausted I didnt feel like writing anything. But now that the competion is over with I should be going back to blogging more. I think I might stop doing the blogging everyday since I dont have something to blog about everyday, but I will try my best to do at least every other day.

In the very near future I will blog about my mock trial expierence and post pictures, so be looking for that.

So, I know that I missed day 11 and 12. I dont really have an excuse other than I felt like being lazy. But anyways I got to open my Valentines gifts from my parents early since my sister was in town over the weekend, so here are the pics from that :)

Today I was lucky enough to get a FREE ticket to the Dixie National Rodeo! It was my first time ever to go to a rodeo and I didnt really know what to expect and even if I would like it. However, It turned out that I loved it! There was horse bucking (not sure if thats what its called haha), bull riding, a rodeo clown, free prizes, barrel racing, and even a performance by Lee Brice.

I'm not a big fan of Lee Brice, in fact I think I only know like one song, but regardless it was still really cool to see him in concert. Oh and I got to sit in the FRONT ROW!! Pretty exciting.Anyways I went with my friend C. and her friend K. and It was a ton of fun. SO here are some pics from the rodeo. I wanna go ahead and apologize for the blurryness of the pics, my camera was not good at focusing and stuff.

My Uncle has recelntly gotten into making his own foods from scratch, so today when I went over to My Aunt and Uncle's House I found him making a wonderful pizza! Since Valentine's day is just right around the corner he decided to make an awesome heart-shaped pizza. Now the picture I got of it is before it got put in the oven because I had to leave. But here it is none the less:

One of my favorite trends right now is lace. I think it is just gorgeous and it takes a regularly plain outfit and gives it a more feminine look. So, today I decided I would put together together some looks using some of my lace clothing. I wanna go ahead and say don't laugh at me too hard when you see my "model" poses. Haha.

Yesterday something really exciting happened to me... I was given a Blog Award!!

Love this! Totally how I felt!!

I was given the award by my big sister who has a blog named From here to there... Her blog is wonderful, and I always get soo excited when I see that she has posted something new. Anyways, the award she gave me is the Liebster Award!

Liebster is German for "dearest" or "favorite" and the Liebster Blog Award Recognizes up-and-coming bloggers with fewer than 200 followers.

Since I am very new to blogging, I haven't started following many people so I was only able to come up with three. So here they are:

1) The first blog is my Mama's. Her blog is called Shaping the Heart and is very uplifting. She hasn't blogged in a very looong time, but hopefully I will be able to convince her to start back!

2) This girl actually has alot more followers than me, but I just cant not give her this. Her name is Ashlyn and her blogs name is Triple Thread. It is a wonderful fashion blog. You can tell that she puts alot of work into it. I just LOVE her fashion sense and I get so excited when I see a new post, so definitely check her out.

3) My other sister Tiffani just started blogging as well. She doesnt have many posts up yet, but I'm sure that she will be bloggin alot. Her blog is called perfectly IMPERFECT.

So I recently have gotten into yoga! I was just doing some videos frm youtube, but tonight I decided to check Netflix and I found a great one called "10 Minute Solution :Yoga". It was more challenging then the ones I was doing on youtube, so i was quite happy for the change.

Let me start off by saying that when I started off with this whole "challenge" I did not realize it would actually be quite hard. First of all I don't live the most exciting life ever, and second I am a lil teeny bit shy when it comes to taking pictures in public; silly I know, but I am. So with that being said, I didn't take any pics of my day, hopefully I'll get better with that, but I decided I would showcase my pillow pets instead for my pic today!!!

I have a bulldog and a hippo! My bulldog was given to me by Bree! And the hippo was given to me by me sweet mama!! Everyone who knows me knows that the hippo is my absolutely positively favoritest animal in the whole wide world, so I was pretty excited to get it!

Anyways, I'll stop talking about stuffed animals and get on with my day. SO today was a pretty normal Tuesday except for the fact that stupid me locked my keys in my car this morning. It turned out OK because my Dad came and let me borrow his to unlock the car. After he came I was able to go on with my day as normal. Later today I found  out that my sister awarded me with the "Liebster Blog Award"!! I was soo excited. It was soo sweet and It made my day!!

Today, I woke up really late, like 11:30. I did my schoolwork, cleaned the house, and finished my book, The Maze Runner. The book was really good; the beginning was kinda slow starting and the end was a bit abrupt, but it definatly was a good book! I'm really excitied to see how the second book plays out. Anyways, I also hung out with my best friend Bree, which was alot of fun. 

 

SUPERBOWL SUNDAY was today! I started it off by going to church. While I was getting ready for church I realized I had forgotten my makeup and my shoes, so I was a little bummed out for a while; however, I got over it quickly. After church I went back to my Aunt and Uncles house where we made breakfast. I read quite a bit of the book that I'm currently reading. It is called The Maze Runner. It is very good, kinda slow starting but once you get into it it's hard to stop. Around 430 I went over to my friends house who was hosting a Super Bowl Party. It was super fun; however I didnt watch a minute of football. We mainly played ERS( egyptian rat screw) and pool. (P.S. I suck at it!) Anyways that was pretty much my day. I forgot to take any pics from the party,but here are some pics I got today.

Today was a loong day! First off I had to wake up at 6am this morning so I could go to a Marathon Makeover meeting.  At the meeting we normally have a "lecture" then we go on our run. However, since I had to go to work today at 10, I wasnt able to do the run with the group. After work I went to the gym to get my mile and a half in. Once I got home I just crashed in my bed wanting to take a nap. I didnt tho cause I knew if I took a nap I would not go to sleep tonight. So all in all it had turned out to be a pretty boring day, so I wasnt able to get in any good pics. When I got to my Aunt's house to spend the night I grabbed my cousin and got her to take some pics with me! So here they are:

Today was a super rainy day. It started raining in the early morning and it is still going.

 My picture isn't super exciting today because of it. :( I didn't really do anything that was worth taking a picture of.However,  I carried my camera around all day, just in case I saw something worth capturing but unfortunately I didn't. So today's picture is of my painted nails, because that is literally the most exciting thing I did today. They are painted a hot pink. Then I added the Essie top coat. The hot pink nail polish brand is Ulta, but it came in a pack of four so it doesn't have a name.

Hopefully my tomorrow will be more exciting :)
