Happiness

Heureux Mardi!!

I didn't have anything planned for today, so I thought I would write one of my 30 Things. For those of you who don't know what that is you can click here to read all about it.

I decided to skip down a few to Q. #5:

What are the 5 things that make me most happy right now?

1)Noon Day- I am sure that you can imagine that while being a college student I don't get the most nutritious, home-cooked meals. So one of the things I look forward to most every week is Noon-Day. The Baptist Student Union at my school prepares a meal for the college students every Wednesday at noon. It's always incredibly scrumptious and a great time to relax and talk to friends.

2) My Sisters- I am rooming with both of my sisters right now. Although we can get on each others nerves all the time; I am loving every bit of living with them. They always know how to bring a smile to my face and to make me laugh. I don't know what I would do without them!

3) Football- I was never a huge fan of football before I started college. However, now I just can't get enough of it. I try and go to as many of the home games for MSU as possible, and every week I go to my friends' intramural football games. This past Saturday a few friends and I showed our school spirit by writing #HAILSTATE on t-shirts. We got on ESPN! It was a pretty proud moment for all of us!

4)Friends- Coming into college I was nervous about not finding a good group of christian friends. However, God has given me some of the most amazing friends I could ask for. They are there for me through anything and they make college so much less stressful. I wouldn't trade a single one of them for anything!

5) Starbucks Hot Chocolate- I don't really feel like this needs an explanation. But.. Stopping by Starbucks almost everyday after my 8 o'clock classes to get myself a small hot chocolate no whip is one of the highlights of my day! Mmm.. I just cant get enough.

Happy Sunday!

So, I was supposed to put up this post yesterday, but I ended up being busy-- and by busy I mean hanging out with friends. Sorry for the late post but I thought that I should still put it up so I can showcase the outfits I put together this past week. I am linking up with my big sis over at From Here to There for the 27 Day Outfit Challenge!

Not going to lie, I was not motivated to dress up at all this past week. I had three tests this past week and 8 o'clock class, so as you can imagine, dressing up wasn't priority #1. However, I did manage to dress up a few days!

Dear Friday, Oh how happy I am that you are finally here! Dear French I, You are becoming very very stressful. Why can't I just be fluent in you already! Dear Thanks-Giving Break, I am counting down the days till you come!! Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Corn Bread, BLACK FRIDAY!! Oh there are so many great things about you! Dear I-Phone, I love you. How did I ever get through life with other phones! :D Dear Texas A&M Game, You are going to be absolutely fantastic!! I can't wait to see my bulldogs pull in another win!! #HAILSTATE

Catching Up

Good Morning!!

I thought that today I would fill you all in what has been happening in my life since May! I've been absent for so long that I felt it would be good to catch up!

{SUMMER}

So there isn't really anything to catch y'all up on from this Summer.

I spent my summer in a college town where I knew no one so I ended up not doing a whole lot.

{AUGUST}

August was a very exciting month for me... can anyone guess why?!? Because I Started College!! I began my college career on August 20th, 2012! I am attending Mississippi State University, majoring in International Business. So far its been extremely exciting making new friends and living on my own (sort of). I am living with my two sisters, Heather ( Who you may know from " From Here to There") and Tiffani ( A Southern Sweetie)!

Another exciting thing that happened to me was on August 31st I turned 18!! That's right I am an adult now!! I didn't end up doing much for my birthday( kinda lame, I know). I've never been one to make a big deal out of my birthday, regardless it was still an exciting time in August.

{SEPTEMBER}

September was a fantastic month that unfortunately had nothing super exciting worth mentioning happen (sorry guys, I'll try to be more adventurous). I mainly spent this month focusing on school, hanging out with friends, and of course cheering on my bulldogs at football games!!

{OCTOBER}

Almost caught up! October has been amazing!

I got a new job working at the front desk of a hotel. I went to the Lumineers concert in Oxford,MS( which ,by the way, was AH-MAZING!!) To get in the spirit of Halloween, I carved pumpkins and yesterday I went to a haunted horse park with some friends! All-in-All, October has been great!

Did'ya Miss Me?

Hello, my lovely blogger buddies! I am back from my unannounced hiatus. Sorry about that.

I have many many excuses I could give you for the reason why I have not been posting, but frankly there isn't a good one. So I'm just going to jump right back in and pretend I never left!

Hello my lovely blog buddies. Yes, It has been awhile. And yes, I've said it in every single post for the past few weeks that I am going to start posting regularly. But this time I really really mean it. ( At least I hope I do). Don't be too mad if I don't follow through. :D

So, I am FINALLY done with my high school career. I finished up my last class about a week and a half ago. SO HAPPY. I will be graduating this coming up Saturday!!! It seems almost unreal. This year has flown by soo fast, and although I am a tiny bit nervous about starting a new chapter in my life I am also extremely excited.

It's a short little post but I hope it will do till.. Tomorrow!! Here are a few funny things from Pinterest!!

It's Ok..

Its OK..

* that its been ..idk maybe a week since I have written a new post. Sorry little blog, I won't forget about you again. I promise! :D

* that I am super SUPER SUPER excited about seeing my big sister Heather tomorrow!! I can't wait!!!

* to have extreme senioritis. I just want to graduate and go to college right now!!!

* that I have been really hating all of the thunderstorms that have been passing through lately. Weather please calm down... you keep messing up my plans.

* that I haven't gotten my hair cut in over 6 months.. eek!! I need to make an appointment ASAP!

* that I haven't gotten shoes yet for prom.. but I do think I have an idea of which pair I am getting.

* to love going to department stores and try on a ton of dresses and not buy one. ( pictures soon!!)

* to LOVE that Biology is cancelled for tomorrow!! No school!!

D.I.Y Inspiration

Hello Everyone!! Happy Wednesday to you!

This summer I will be moving to a new town to go to college, and all I can think about is how I am going to decorate my new room when I get up there. I have found a few extremely cute and relativley easy-looking D.I.Y's on Pinterest that I think would look remarkable in my apt.

This is probably the thing I am looking most forward to doing. Right now I don't have a headboard, and I think this is just such a cute and very do-able project. I found it on Pinterest, but here is a link to the blog if you are interested in doing your own headboard!

This ruffled pillow is adorable! Its a little upsetting that there wasn't a link to the original page for a step-by-step tutorial. :(

3 Fears (30 Things #2)

There are many things that I am afraid of. Most of these things I can get over pretty quickly-like wasps or the dark-, but there are a few things that will always creep me/freak me out!

1) Cockroaches.

Probably the grossest thing alive. Just writing about them right now is making me nervous. I feel like this fear of cockroaches runs in the family because my two sisters are also very terrified of cockroaches. I don't really know when this fear began; I guess it's just been with me my whole life. There are a few things that have definitely heightened my fear though.

I remember when me and my 2 sisters shared a room I saw a cockroach on my sister's blanket.Now I am not sure if this actually happened because I was very little, but it seems very real in my mind. My Aunt also once told me this horrific story about her own cockroach encounter, but it is really too gross to go into detail on my blog; just believe me when I say it was a horrific story.

2) Fire.

I can not stress enough how scared I am of fire. Now I can handle like a candle burning or a fireplace. it is more the handling of the fire that scares me. I will NOT light a match. I will NOT do that thing where people swish their hand through the fire (idiots), even though people say it doesn't burn. I am also scared of the possibility of a house fire. Just the thought of losing everything is very scary. The fear is more towards losing my pets than my possessions though.

3) Hills.
Now, I am more scared of being in a car stopped or parked on a steep hill. It just freaks me out soo bad!! I'm always afraid I am going to roll backwards and die... I guess I am being a little dramatic, but they really do scare me .. A LOT!!

Now, I told myself I would not do a post on The Hunger Games, BUT I couldn't help myself. So here goes.

I heard about The Hunger games back in January 2012 from people I watch on YouTube. I ended up reading the books and falling in LOVE with the trilogy. Ever since I have been eagerly awaiting March 23 to arrive!! My best friend and I made t-shirts even to wear at the theater.

I must say that I am a Peeta girl. If you have been following my blog then you probably already know this since I tend to talk about it alot. If only all guys were like Peeta Mellark! *sigh*

Anyways I thought I could share some of my favorite Hunger Games things I have come across.

Happy Monday!!

I love starting off my week writing cute little letters! So lets jump right in!

Dear Monday: Once again you are back to start off a new week. I have a feeling this week is going to be a good one. Lets see.. English is canceled for tomorrow, the Hunger Games comes out Thursday, and I'm going to go see a play on Friday. Yep, its going to be a good week.

Dear Spring Break: I did not get around to doing any of the fun Pinterest projects I had planned. Oh Well. At lease I got to spend time with one of my sisters. You were kinda boring this year, but we have next year to go all crazy!

Dear Charming Charlie: YAY! You opened up near me!! I am soo happy you came to our mall. You are a fantastic new addition!! I love the big floppy hat I got from you ( pic up above)!!

Dear Hunger Games: You are finally here... well almost!!! Words can not describe how excited I am to see you!!! I wish Peeta were real, cause I would make him mine in a heartbeat!!
